1947AD™ is an Indian clothing brand operated by 1947AD™, based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. We sell culturally rooted apparel directly to customers across India through our online store.

  • The information you provide during checkout is accurate and complete
  • You will not misuse, copy, or reproduce any content, design, or material from this website without our written permission

4. Orders & Pricing

  • All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes
  • We reserve the right to cancel any order in the event of pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud
  • Once an order is placed and confirmed, it cannot be modified or cancelled as each piece is made to order
  • We currently accept prepaid payments only. COD is not available

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship across India via our fulfillment partner Qikink
  • Estimated delivery time is 5–10 business days from order confirmation
  • Delivery timelines may vary due to location, courier delays, or external factors beyond our control
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout

6. Returns & Refunds

Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details. In summary, we do not accept returns for change of mind or incorrect size selection. Replacements or refunds are only processed for damaged, misprinted, or incorrect items reported within 7 days of delivery with supporting photos and an unboxing video.

7. Limitation of Liability

1947AD™ will not be held liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses arising from use of our website or products
  • Delays or failures caused by third-party courier or fulfillment partners
  • Loss or damage caused after the product has been delivered

Our maximum liability in any case will not exceed the amount paid for the specific order in question.

8. Intellectual Property of Cultural Content

1947AD uses cultural references, historical narratives, and regional art forms as source material for design. We approach this with deep respect and research.
